MSc/MS in Met, MSc Physics, MSc Maths with Minimum second division from Pakistan/ Foreign university recognized by HEC.

Selection Procedure to Become Officer in PAF Met Branch
Applying Procedure
Registration: Candidates can register online at the official PAF recruitment site or visit a PAF Information & Selection Center during the announced recruitment period.
Submission of Documents: Submit the required academic and personal documents as per the instructions provided during the registration process.
Academic Tests
Entrance Exam: An academic test based on the candidate’s field of study (Meteorology or related sciences) to assess technical knowledge.
Intelligence Test: Verbal and non-verbal intelligence tests to evaluate cognitive abilities.
Physical Standards
Medical Examination: Initial medical screening to check basic health standards.
Fitness Test: Physical tests including running, push-ups, sit-ups, and chin-ups to assess fitness levels. Physical standards is given below;
Candidates in PAF Met Branch will undergo Physical Test as per following Criteria;
Running : 01 Mile (08 Min)
Push-Ups : 15 (02 Min)
Reach Ups / Sit Ups : 20 (02 Min)
Chin Ups: 03 (02 Min)
Interview
After Physical Tests, candidates have to pass the initial interview which usually held at selection center.
Psychological Tests / ISSB
After passing initial interview, candidates have to pass the psychological tests which usually held at selection center or they undergo for ISSB tests depending on the current policy.
Final Interview
Candidates have to face the interview panel for final selection to become officer in Met branch.
CMB
After passing final interview, candidates have to clear CMB by clearing multiple tests including medical tests.
Final Merit List
Final merit list becomes at AHQ and then individuals are being called at selection centers for handing over movement order for reporting in PAF academy Risalpur.
